Terms and Conditions of Purchase

Variances in Timber
At Village Little Interiors, we take pride in our artisanal craftsmanship. Our furniture is exclusively handmade in our Western Australia workshop, using traditional woodworking techniques and solid wood. Variations in wood characteristics, such as knots and natural features, are inherent to the material and are not considered defects. These unique traits enhance the authenticity of each piece.
Care
Real wood can expand and contract due to environmental factors, which may occasionally lead to cracks in furniture. While this is rare, we provide a six-month window for customers to report such issues.

To minimize risks, solid wood furniture should be stored in a climate-controlled environment and protected from direct sunlight. At Village Little Interiors, we pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, ensuring our furniture is built to last with proper care and use.
5 year extended warranty
We offer a comprehensive 5-year repair warranty on all furniture purchased from our store, ensuring peace of mind against manufacturing defects. Please note, this warranty does not cover defects resulting from general wear and tear, misuse, transportation damage, or modifications made after purchase.
Returns/Cancellations
Most of our products are bespoke, so we do not accept returns. All furniture is non-cancelable, non-returnable, and non-refundable, except for faulty workmanship or manufacturing defects. Damaged items will be replaced with identical merchandise when available.

Please consider our returns policy before ordering, as all deposits are non-refundable due to change of mind, any cancellation due to a change in furniture's expected dispatch date is considered a change of mind and will not be refunded. If a balance payment cannot be made, the order will be canceled, and the deposit will be issued as store credit.

We value the handcrafted process and expect respectful behavior from our customers. Village Little Interiors reserves the right to cancel any order or refuse service if a customer exhibits threatening, violent, or abusive behavior.

Refunds, processed at the discretion of Village Little Interiors, are processed within 21 days and will be issued to the original payment method. This timeframe is non-negotiable.
Lead Times/Dispatch Dates
Village Little Interiors is committed to providing accurate dispatch dates and lead times, but these estimates are not guaranteed and may change. We cannot be held liable for any losses or damages due to delays, and refunds or cancellations will not be accepted for this reason. We recommend ordering vital items, like cots, 8-12 weeks in advance to minimize inconvenience.

Unforseen issues in crafting handmade furniture may cause delays. We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver high-quality products.

Once dispatched, we provide estimated delivery timeframes from our couriers. Delays during transit are beyond our control, and we do not accept liability for such issues.




Damage
Village Little Interiors maintains thorough quality control with inspections at every production and packaging stage. However, issues may still arise. Upon receiving your shipment, please inspect it thoroughly and document any damages with photographs and notes on the delivery paperwork. Contact us within 24 hours to initiate a claim for repair or replacement of severely damaged items. Claims are void if damage is not reported at the time of delivery.

For Design Trade Partners, ownership transfers when items leave our factory, and shipping fees are managed directly with the delivery company.

For Light Items: Light items are shipped via FedEx or Australia Post. If you notice damage after opening, contact us within 24 hours. Provide photos of the damage and the shipping box, and retain all original shipping materials for a claim.

What kind of payment methods do we accept?
Payments can be made via credit card/Debit card or PayPal. Please note that all balance payments are processed through bank transfer via the invoice provided at the time, and PayPal is used for balance payments on international orders.
Intellectual property
All images and content on the Village Little Interiors website and social media are the sole property of Village Little Interiors. For permission to use our pictures or logo, please contact us in advance. You may tag us on social media and pin our designs, but we ask that you credit Village Little Interiors appropriately.
